Need a splash of adorable polka dots to make you smile? A polka dot plant, with its brightly speckled leaves in splotches of pink or red, is a pretty addition to bright window sills. Pair it with green-leafed plants such as baby's tears (Soleirolia soleirolii) or small ferns. Plants bloom very rarely. 'Splash' has larger spots. 'Confetti' has more, smaller freckles.Tip-pinch to keep plant bushy. Growth can be cut to within an inch or so of the soil in early spring to renew. Tend to become woody and need replacement every few years. For indoor use.
